NOTICE TO TENDERS
Sealed Tenders, clearly marked “Tender for Contract Road Grading Maintenance and Snow Plowing” will be received at:

Morrin, AB T0J 2B0
until 2:00 p.m. local time, February 14th, 2018. Tenders will be opened at a public tender opening after that time in the Starland County Council Chambers.
Tenders are invited to submit quotations for Road Grading Maintenance and Snow Plowing as set out in Appendix “B” available online on the Alberta Purchasing Connection and starlandcounty.com under Corporate Services/Tender Opportunities. Bidders are invited to submit a price for a 3 year, 9 months per year, regular road grading contract, as well as another price for a 3 year, 12 month per year, regular road grading and winter snow plowing call-out contract (extra equipment required). Contract begins March 15th, 2018, or as soon as reasonably possible.
The County may decide, in its sole discretion, that no bid submitted will be accepted and no Contract will be awarded pursuant to this tender process. If the County decides to accept a tender and award a Contract, the selection of the successful Tender will be based on a number of criteria which shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, price, start date, level of service proposed, type(s) of vehicles or equipment, staffing levels, location of business operation, qualifications, past history and other criteria that is deemed appropriate for the selection of a contractor.
