STARLAND REGIONAL FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES
is pleased to announce that we have entered into a contractual agreement with the Drumheller Valley FCSS for the provision of Joint Family and Community Support Services to include residents of the Villages of Delia, Morrin and Munson as well as Starland County residents.
The Drumheller Valley FCSS has graciously agreed to extend and provide various programming opportunities to our community members through their FCSS team. These opportunities include but are not limited to things like Senior’s programming events in Delia and Morrin; Senior’s services in Drumheller such as the Volunteer Tax Program; and youth program activities in Drumheller.
They will also be providing representation on the various associated committees such as Early Childhood Development; Drumheller & Area Asset Development Coalition; Big Country Anti Violence Association and the Drumheller Interagency Committee.

There are several initiatives that have been established for seniors including Hot Meal Deliveries to seniors; Subsidized In-Home Services for residents aged 55+; and Senior’s Activity Packs for you to enjoy.
Youth Programming is on-going but watch for “drive-in” movie nights; youth talent showcasing; Adulting 101; and other exciting events!
The Starland Regional FCSS still fully supports our Family Resource Workers (FRW’s) in the Morrin and Delia Schools. These resource workers are available to provide support services to students and their families which will contribute to their social and emotional well-being, as well as deliver preventive education programming. The FRW’s are available to provide counselling and/or support services to any individual (student or community member) or family. This programming is a collaboration between the local schools, Prairie Land Public School Division and the Starland Regional FCSS. In addition, Starland County has partnered with Wheatland County Counselling, to provide a Community Counselling Service. Eligible residents of Starland County and the Villages of Delia, Morrin and Munson can access low-cost or free professional counselling services.
