Starland County is accepting tenders for the leasing of the following:
Parcel 1:
North West Quarter of Section Twelve, Township Twenty-nine, Range 17, West of the Fourth Meridian
(N.W. ¼ 12-29-17 W4M)
Parcel 2:
South West Quarter of Section Twelve, Township Twenty-nine, Range 17, West of the Fourth Meridian
(S.W. ¼ 12-29-17 W4M)
Description:
Comprising a total titled area of 317.99 acres (128.69 ha) more or less, of which approximately 302.28
acres (122.33 ha) is cultivated. The land is located in the Handhills approximately 14 miles south-east of
Delia. The lease or leases will be for a five-year term for cash rent. The tenant will be required to show
proof of liability insurance in at least the amount of $2,000,000.00. The lease will also contain provisions
wherein the leased acres can be reduced annually by the County to accommodate gravel extraction or
other development. A copy of the proposed lease agreement is available upon request.
