Starland Regional Family and Community Support Services
Commonly referred to as FCSS, the program was launched in January 2010. FCSS is a funding partnership between the Province (80%) and member municipalities (20%). The Starland Regional FCSS includes the municipalities of Starland County, the Village of Morrin, Village of Munson, Village of Delia and Prairie Land Regional School Division. The role of FCSS is to enhance, strengthen and stabilize family and community life. It actively promotes and encourages cooperation and coordination with other agencies in the community, volunteerism, youth and seniors out reach.
FCSS is involved in preventive programming designed to:
• Enhance well-being community well being
• Foster civic participation
• Promote volunteer involvement
• Help citizens maintain their independence
• Enhance coordination of service delivery within Starland County
The Starland Regional FCSS is governed by a Board which meets once a month. The following is a list of Board Members:
