Planning and Development

A. Redesignation:

  1. Land Use Bylaw Amendment $200.00

B. Development Agreement

  1. Single Parcel $100.00
  2. Multiple Parcel (minimum) $5,000.00 (or actual legal fees paid by the County)

C. Development Permit Applications

  1. Home Occupations $50.00
  2. Single Family Residence $75.00
  3. Duplex/Semi-detached Dwelling $100.00
  4. Additions to Dwellings $50.00
  5. Ancillary Building $75.00
  6. All other developments:
    • $50.00 for the first $1,000.00 of cost
    • $10.00 for each additional $1,000.00 of cost
    • Maximum Fee $1,500.00

D. Application Penalty

  1. If the applicant commences construction of a development prior to obtaining the necessary permit, a 100% penalty will be applied to the above noted fees.

E. Subdivision and Development Appeal Fees

  1. Appeals submitted by Adjacent Landowner $100.00
  2. Development (applicant) Appeals $200.00

F. Certificate of Compliance Fees

  1. Compliance Certificate $75.00
  2. Rush Service – within 2 days $200.00

G. Copy of Land Use Bylaw $35.00

D. Buried Electrical / Utility Line Installation and Rural Crossing Regulations

E. Road Permits / Agreements

  1. Road Inspection or escort (2 hr. minimum) $100.00 / hr
  2. Agreement Preparation $100.00

F. Road Use Agreement Inspection

  1. Road Inspection (2 hr. minimum) $100.00 / hr 

G. Seismic Operations Permit (Any seismic on County Roadways)
